CREATING A LASTING LEGACY

TO MY FELLOW BUILDERS –

When I take a step back and look around at what’s being accomplished here at Gateway, by both students and faculty, I can’t help but smile. It never ceases to amaze me what a student can accomplish when placed in the right environment with the right teachers and given the freedom to learn in a way that works best for them. It’s why we exist in the first place!

Gateway Prep students are pushing on all fronts; not only excelling in the classroom but also in the arts and in athletic competitions. This despite instruction taking place in temporary modular classrooms and not having enough areas designed for the growing number of our students who want to participate in dance, athletics, choir and theater. It’s a travesty for their potential to be limited by the inadequate facilities they have at their disposal currently. It is for this reason I am before you today and why we have created the Legacy campaign; to provide all our students with the facilities and resources they need and truly deserve.

I encourage you to take a look at the wonderful things happening at Gateway, hear from our students and see the invaluable part that you will play in creating a lasting Legacy.
